The World Journalism Education Congress (WJEC) will be held in Singapore on June 25-28 2007, with the support of 23 journalism education organizations worldwide.* The Congress will be the first international conference specifically designed for journalism educators and journalism education associations. It will provide a forum for all involved in journalism education to discuss common issues and interests and a foundation for supporting the continuing development of journalism and journalism education worldwide. The Congress will be run in conjunction with the the Asian Media Information and Communication Centre's 16th annual conference.
